Chaada Saasina Chakhom Chaobee

Chaada saasina chakhom chaobee Uda saasina meetlaobee

(The liner revolves around the theme of pretension meaning to signify that one who eats more pretends to eat less and one who sees more pretends otherwise. Generally referred to the female section of ‘Meitei' society)

If you care enough to pamper the temper of a typical Meitei leisabi (lass) or  a Mou (married lady) , this is the right one liner to shoot.  I am not being bias here it's all for the sake of jest J....I really found it funny when my Ebenpok I mean Bubok (grandma) used to gossip around in the Leikai hotel using this line. I could not refer to the meaning of the same then and later asked my mumma about it. Thanks to my mom for the real meaning for this one. Well, one secret ssshhhhh........ after knowing the meaning of this one in particular I started eating with spoon to save myself from those big morsels (chakhom) (((yabrane)))) ==kidding alright!!!.

Well if anyone can come up with a synonymous meaning of this one in English then I would highly appreciate that.........

Masak Fajabana Mayamgee

Masak Fajabana Mayamgee, Maram Mokpana Leikai Gee, Nungsibana Eigi.... Embarassed

(Denoting the sensibility of a Meitei Lass (sezz). The maxim directs to explain the trait of an ideal Meitei lad who is handsome, diligent and endearing--- all by his lady love) ahemm.  Tongue out
Whews!!!!! My dear eetas and enao ebemas you can sure try this one to woo the man of your choice huh!!!After all a woman is to woo- man.....(courtesy @ men's kingdom eeks). However and whatever I really got impressed by this one in particular when Miss Devala (an English teacher in my high school) related the same when I was in umm I guess 8th standard ehh! Quite a teaser for a liner ews! Alright....I guess you people know the meaning of the same right? If any confusion feel free to let me explain about the same.

Memoirs of a Particular Krishna Jarma
The dawn breaks again, the early birds chirp chirp evoking in my heart insurgent nostalgia of my home far away. I know not why I had to wake up at such an odd hour. Observed the bedside watch it reads 4:45 A.M. What girl??? What is wrong ‘go back to sleep!!' (I scolded myself and forced my lazy eyes to close again)) ................... Ehh its gonna be 5 and I still can't re-sleep..................??????????????
Cry

Compulsive insomnia for a matter of some few minutes hmmm.  Another 15 minutes movie trailer =======The Memoirs of Krishna Jarma====umm a particular Krishna Jarma though. It was during my fourth standard and I still have fresh memories how me and my sisters plus my dada (my bro) were so excited for the day since the previous night. Well ,as usual I was the most excited among four of us and guess what it was not even 3 AM and I woke up with a start as if it was getting  late to visit ‘Hanuman Thakur mandir' (ehh). I woke up my sisters one by one meanwhile my mumma had already started heating water for us to take bath (so sweet of her naah). Chetha (my elder sister) in a half sleep state scolded me ‘  angang nang nathou leimande'.  I reverted with a ‘who cares' note and got myself ready.  Laughing
Umm, by 3:40 everyone was ready and it was time to set forth for the four of us (yippee). Hmm, one exciting incident to follow suit before we finally set off========== I had/ have always been a darling granddaughter for my ‘Bubok' (eben) ==huh I mean my grandma====her usual double tone call for me==="Eshutombi Sanatombi ". I understood the meaning of her call alright and would rush to her ‘Kaangthon" within fraction of a second (yabrane). Guess what! My 'Bubok' always pampered me offering extra pocket money for each and every festive occasion and it was one such occasion (lucky me right?)Tongue out

Well, ahem back to the particular theme. I refer to this particular ‘Krishna Jarma' as the most memorable one simply because this was one such ‘Janmasthami' after my mumma came back again from her maiden home(mapaam)(after some two and half years stay there) which happened all because of that small read BIG quarrel between my baba and her (uish henmandro?).  I have faint memories of earlier 'Krishna Jarmas' and I either don't have any striking memory of any other Krishna Jarma after this one. I was not aware of the real reason of celebrating this festival except that it was/is Lord Krishna's Happy Birthday (sans any cake ehh). But staying in the vicinity of ‘Shri Govindajee Temple and Hanuman Thaakur Mandir" ,  we never missed the fun and frolic parts  of any festive occasion whether its Kaang or Krishna Jarma or Raas Leela J. Quite rocking right?????Sealed

Umm, now as per the timeline I suppose I have to get back to sleep now (literally)====Alright more to come  in next episode of ‘Leichan'.

Pemma Yelhou Fabee

Pemma yelhou fabee tungi poloi yengnasi Tongue out

(ummm... a witty liner again directed towards a female Leisabi (lass) or Mou (married lady). The maxim suggests the idea of being more careful and cautious about the future yet to come. Somewhat contradictory in meaning to ‘Live as if there is no tomorrow')

Well, next time you want to trigger the bad humor of a Meitei Lady who does lots of pomp and show, then make sure you use this one liner (kidding ehh)

The Reconciliation

Umm.....I could not come up with another blog during weekend as I was pretty unsure of what to write next. Moreover, I most often cannot afford to trigger my mind to shoot out ideas during weekends since I seriously love to be pampered with the best leisure activities with few friends. Alright! This is my personal issue and as I made it a point (earlier) I will not try to monopolise this space with my "Right to express" anything and everything. We are not discussing any political issue here (ehh) right? So back to the ‘all time discussion' =='Leichan'.

I underwent a tough mental combat to justify ‘Leichan' whether it should be a fairy tale series or a flowery narrative.  I finally made up my mind that ‘Leichan' wont be either of them.  My decision had to undergo a tough mental combat but then I guess and believe that I have come up with a wise and nice decision (sigh). Innocent
‘Leichan' will just be a ‘Leichan' in the garden of my thoughts.  It will remain a true manifestation of some genuine human emotions, untouched by any vice or vanity. Well, if you want to see me in the typical shoes of a writer then, maybe you can check out my ‘Ebenpok Tales' which is coming sooner than later in another section of ‘Siroi'. But here I am I and I will always be I, I won't do any buttering of thoughts or ideas. I will not even try to become someone who is not me (sezz yabrane).Wink
Alright then guys and girls, pals and chums time to say bye for the day.

Misusing the Dogma of 'Leichan' today (oops)

Gawd! I am seeking some poetic innovation and guess what? I am just concentrating more on my idiosyncrasy rather than triggering my mind to nurture ‘Leichan'. I beg my humble apologies for the day but this is true that I cannot come up with a good content for ‘Leichan' today and as such I have an excuse here to liberalize my personal fundas again (ehhh). Smile

Umm, I am presenting you a sneak preview of a 15 minutes movie which I had conceptualized yesterday while coming back from my office (hmm). I often take an official chartered bus while traveling back from office to home. It takes around some 5 to 10 minutes to reach my home but yesterday because of the weekend fever there was some traffic and it took around 15 minutes to reach home. The bus was already crowded and so I could only manage to get a seat beside the entry door. The shafts of chilled winter breeze somehow let me refresh and rejuvenate after a hectic day's schedule. Sigh! I always love traveling back home from office everyday. It is one pleasing experience to get rid of that nauseate provoked in my cabin for nearly 9 hours everyday (a choice less choice huh). Embarassed

Now here is the theme of the 15 minutes movie
Bicycling down memory lane Wink

While sitting beside the door, a memory quite surprisingly clicked in my mind about some bygone days and I traveled back to my school days (ehhh yabrane). I started recollecting all those memories especially those school picnics. The best part of each and every picnic we had enjoyed was the antaaaksri game played in the bus between boys and girls team (during the return trip). Well, no doubt girls always used to win the same and poor boys had to treat us in the canteen the next day, the fun was worth much more than the next day's treat. Ummm, did I just mention the same as the best part? Well it was the worst part as well. Ask why? Once we reached our homes, we knew we would miss those moments again and (sad) we had to wait for another year to enjoy the same again. I am pretty sure most of you have experienced the same as well. After all we all had a rocking high school life right? Cheers! Guys huh!!! Laughing

Umm, am getting late for my movie now so maybe I can come up with a delightful stuff for ‘Leichan' later. Let me excuse myself for the time being. (cant afford to miss my weekend's movie (laughs))Smile

Thanks everyone for bearing my indisputable blah blahs eeks!!! Tongue out
